FISTS ··· SOLVENT... with grapefruit Juice

   I can't say much words about FISTS but I've got some reasons why you should care about them. They could be one of the BIGGEST bands right now, they are from Notts and some of them (James and Dave) play in Grey Hairs (which is awesome). I like the fact how their songs can be a sweet stab in your heart while you are bleeding grapefruit juice, yeah! Their music tastes like grapefruit juice. I got them in the same room in my head where I've got The Pixies, amazing songwriters writing amazing songs in their own.

   If you never listen about them Now is the turn to do it (if not just jump to the next link), don't be lazy and stop listening Tame Impala, now listen to me, you are going to feel bad as I did for loosing such a great band for a long time.

   So now you need to know:  They are planing to release their first lp in June - July throw Gringo and Hello Thor. After such an excellent 3 singles their first teaser from this LP is a song called Solvent. A moody toxic - pop tune that is going to stick in your head until the end of the winter.

I'm pretty sure They really enjoy the fact of perverting clichés in pop music. That's all about, pervert your art, love it, throw it up and hate it that much until it becomes strawberry jelly.

Hello World

The guys from Madre Vynila and Catalina Tapes put out an amazing 7", they've just released the first reference for Morenas. It sounds pretty fucking good, the songs are amazing that make me think to myself I wish I can write a song like this. Try to imagine a drill at max inside a butterfly... there you are, a non stop slaping drums, guitars that you can feel it inside your guts and they sing in Spanish.

It's 2013 already, shitty electronic and pretentious love-post hipsters songs is all around. I don't want it. What can I say? I grew up listening Ramones, Dead Kennedys and Sonic Youth.
Grumpy riffs, nonstop lo-fi beats, reverb, non-understandable lyrics and Crisis. They are based in the sunny Alicante, yes, this place where half EU (mostly British)  goes to get smashed, fucking in the streets, vomiting and shitting in the bins for a reasonable price.

The first time I listened them was in one of the MRR radio shows but I don't remember right now how was the guest who recomended it (my head is completely gone away, it's about midnight and I'm pretty lazy to check the maximum's site). Imagine Bratmobile after 1 week  listening Mission of Burma and Minutemen with a high dose of Vitamin C. The drums sound is one of the best sounds I've ever heard, one of the guys in the league of Murph from Dinosaur or Brendan Canty from Fugazi. I'm pretty jealous that they sound so good, I wish I can play like them.
